twenty and oh!

71-63
The No. 1-ranked Syracuse Orange set a school-record with its 20th consecutive victory to start the season with a 71-63 win over the Pittsburgh Panthers at the Carrier Dome on Monday.
This year’s Orange surpassed the previous record of 19 straight wins to open a season set in the 1999-2000 campaign.
The win was also the 876th career victory for Syracuse coach Jim Boeheim, who tied late Kentucky coach Adolph Rupp for fourth on the NCAA Division’s all-time list.
