Exciting news from the Basin - we're opening for the 2012-13 ski season! The Black Mountain Express lift will start turning tomorrow, Wednesday 10/17, at 9 a.m. for all you snow bunnies out there. We have an 18 inch base on High Noon, our intermediate run that stretches from mid-mountain down to the base area. For all you fearless freestylers, we'll also have several features set up in the High Divide Terrain Park! And food - don't forget the food - will be available in both the A-Frame and Black Mountain Lodge. For those of you who love the 6th Alley Bar (and who doesn't?), we'll have 300 mugs available for the 12-13 Mug Club. Mugs cost $40, limit one per person, and are first come, first served. Sales start at 9 a.m., so hop in line early to claim yours! Words can't express how excited we are to open and see all of your lovely faces again. Our staff has been working hard to get everything ready, especially our mountain ops and snowmaking teams - they are the best in the business! We can't wait to share the season with you.
